During last years, the identification market has changed a lot. Manufacturers of consumer products now have to apply custom labels to their products, in all stages of their chain of supply in order to meet the minimum mass customization standards.

Logistics and distribution, production planning and control, and quality assurance are areas that require a label with a exact description or a barcode of instructions that enable a correct flow of materials and eliminate errors on the production process. 

In 1994, Grupo Etimex invested in new equipment in order to meet new quality standards for the industry, allowing to produce more volume and gain market share in actual and new markets.

Grupo Etimex, S.A. de C.V. was not the exception.

Etimex begun opeations 35 years ago selling blank labels and manual label dispensers, later, equipment for rinting barcodes and thermal labels for those devices. Then, labels printed in full color, new sizes and new materials were available, thanks to the investment made in 1994.
